The 69 Eyes are delighted to announce that they have teamed up with legendary Gothenburg rockers Hardcore Superstar for a double-barreled blast around UK / Europe in Spring 2011! After spending the end of last year exploring their more sensitive Elvis-on-black-velvet side with a run of acoustic shows in their home country of Finland, the Helsinki Vampires are spreading their bat wings and gearing up to get back to what they do best - sleazy goth 'n' roll - played loud & proud! This short and sweet co-headlining tour is the ideal way to round off a very successful extended touring period around the 'Back In Blood' album before heading back into the studio later this year and what makes this tour more than perfect is another legendary Swedish sleaze act Crashdïet joining the bill. You just can't even imagine cooler tour than this, baby! So here comes your favorite sons of anarchy bringing you some true blood:

Jussi 69 Rocks Helsinki in More Ways Than One!

Jussi 69 had some big news to share, and he asked me to release this news in English for his fans around the world! Jussi has taken over Bar Bäkkäri, and it is quickly becoming the coolest Rock 'N' Roll Bar in Finland!! He provided me with a loose translation of what he said in his recent video interview with MTV3 as well as some additional information.
When asked where he gets the time & energy for everything that he does, Jussi explains how excited he is do be doing this. Jussi said rock 'n' roll is his life! He believes he has the best band in the world, will have his own radio show again on Radio Rock and will be running the best rock 'n' roll bar in the country! Jussi told me that he was asked to run Bar Bäkkäri since he has been going there for many years. Matter of fact, I do recall that it was Jussi that took me there for the first time while I was in Helsinki for Trash Fest II in 2008! He believes that his experience of being in a cool band as well as seeing some of the coolest bars across the world will enable him to create an awesome rock 'n' roll environment for fans and fellow musicians! He recently brought Bam Margera in as a surprise DJ and Dimmu Borgir, Papa Roach & Buckcherry rockers called it the "Best Rock Bar!"
Jussi will also be back on the Radio Rock in January 2011! His "Night Of The Vampires" show will be on the air on Fridays from 8pm-10pm! He will air the best rock 'n' roll music and will have the coolest rock 'n' roll guests!

I have been lucky enough to bring you www.69eyes.us since 2005 when I first fell in love with The 69 Eyes. However, for many reasons, this is now the NEW HOME of www.69eyes.us effective immediately! The original site has not been renewed BUT, The US Team 69 International Vampire Coven will continue under me, mama trash, with 69 Eyes news/team events/interviews and much more! Only the site location has changed! Interviews from 2005 - 2010 will be available on the interviews page of this site in the next few weeks! Thank you for your support over the years! The team and the site will only get bigger and better in 2011! As Jyrki says "In Trash We Trust!"

A few months ago, THE 69 EYES announced a video contest for their track "Kiss Me Undead" via their European label, Nuclear Blast. Since that time they have received more than a dozen clips, all of them unique. "We were very surprised to see all those amazing videos that fans had made for "Kiss Me Undead"!!! If our music seemed to have inspired you guys, so are you guys inspiring us now. We love every single video you have done. You've got it right. Me = we. We share a vision with our fans. Personally I'm happy for the incredible fact that your videos look like my comics - wow!!! Everybody's a winner here. But the final word will be yours, dear 69 Eyes loyalists - please pick up your favorite "Kiss Me Undead" video by voting it here.", says Jyrki69.
