Black Light Discipline's fresh single visited by
russian top musicians.
BLD is releasing a tasty appetizer from their second album. The single
track titled "Serene" is featured by russian symphonic black metal
band Dominia's artists Anton Rosa (vocals) and Dmitry "Casper" Rishko
(violin). Earlier this year these bands threw some live-gigs together
in Finland and in Russia.
October 31st published digital single "Serene" is released by Raw
Entertainment. Distribution in digital format is handled by The
Digilabel and CdBaby.
BLD has decided to postpone the original date (November 2011) a bit.
New date will be announced soon. Out coming album's distribution is
handled by Dance Macabre Records in Europe. Digital distribution is
handled by CDBaby and The Digilabel.

Gallery, get's quoted on Michael Monroe, and Demolition 23
Gothic sleaze-punk alchemists, Trash Gallery, are led by a philosophical
street-scholar, Neen, who sagely, imparted the following: “When I got word about
Mike starting this band Demolition 23, I was waiting with baited-breath, because
at that time, we were slapped in the face by grunge, and it’s “fashion sense”,
or lack there of…Then, when it couldn’t get any worse, the metal guys got
confused and started donning “grunge attire” and mixing funk with rock. Think of
a very bad Chilli’s…What comes to mind really is UGLY KID JOE...Sorry for the
rant, but I had to get that off my chest….Demolition 23, finally, made it to my
cd player, and I thought to myself, this might have been Hanoi getting rougher
and tougher…What I realized, was that Mike was a Real Rock n Roll Jihadist….He
declared a Holy War on the enemies of Rock n Roll…..Didn’t care if anyone
saluted it, Stateside….He did it for what he believed in…He truly lives and
breathes ROCK N ROLL….I may be leaving out some important icons, but Little
Richard and Jerry Lee Lewis come to mind…Not to mention Keith…Man, I can’t make
it any simpler: May the Universe support and smile upon his every move.”

September 12th out coming digital single, Walls Inside Us, is released

Wall Inside Us is features Fnnish female singer, Karoliina Kallio,
who is known among other things from the Finnish band called Waldo's
People.

Family Artist NEWS!
Cold Cold Ground has a new member!
The acclaimed drummer Kunt, known for his original style, has joined Cold Cold Ground as a percussionist. Cold Cold Ground will thus have five members from now on; the current drummer Hoker Dine will continue behind the drum kit. Kunt has already performed with CCG a couple of times, but the first official live show of the new lineup will be at K17, Berlin, Germany on 7.9.2011, during Popkomm Music Conference.
Kunt is a well known character in Helsinki’s rock scene. He currently plays drums in V for Violence, Anzi Destruction’s band and Vanity Beach. He uses pseudonym “Miikki Kunt” in those bands.
Cold Cold Ground is an industrial rock band from Helsinki, Finland. The band was founded in year 2004. CCG’s first album “This Side of Depravity” was released in Finland in 2010 by Osasto-A Records and in Germany and the rest of Western Europe in 2011 by Danse Macabre Records. The band has received a lot of attention with their live shows and music videos. Currently they are working on their second album.

FIREBOX AGENCY TO TAKE OVER CHINA
Firebox Agency is happy and proud to announce a tour of
8 bands covering 7 cities in China. All this scheduled to take place this
year.
Of these eight bands, seven are from Firebox's own roster, and we're happy to
have Private Line with us as the additional 8th band.
Firebox China Tour will be kicked off by Lost Madison in June, followed by Private Line in July and Gotham O.D in August. In September the stages will be taken over by theFallen (UK), in October China will witness Dead Cult Diaries and Dirty Dealers, in November Dead By You. In December Code For Silence will be closing the gates for Firebox China Tour 2011.
As for arranging 8 bands to tour in China over many months, and been seen by thousands of people is quite an extraordinary and a rare chain of events in the Finnish music industry. The bands will hit major cities such as Beijing and Shanghai.

“Eddie” for a Finnish Metal Band!
A Finnish Metal Band called Payload has been around for about three years and has released a of couple discs. The band members have decided to find a graphic artist who has a distinctive personal approach and style to get the future releases and material more unified. The band has also talked about a mascot, much like Iron Maiden has "Eddie", Disturbed has "The Thing" and Megadeth has "Vic".
This mascot is not however the most important thing. What Payload is looking for is a graphic artist / designer who can and will be able to have its own distinctive and recognizable style, such as , Pushead for Metallica, and must not price him/herself out of the competition. In the future, the band will want shirts, cover art, stage backdrops, promo material, posters etc from the artist. The band doesn't want to use vector graphics found from image banks already used for hundreds of other products. So if you know how, or know someone that knows how to make stylish figures and skulls and other general Metal-genre stuff, contact the band.

KINETIK CONTROL NEWS!
Kinetik Control released their sophomore album "Only Truth Remains" in November 2010. The album entered the official Finnish album chart and also claimed the first position of the chart compiled by Rumba, which only collects the sales from record and music stores.
The album got great reviews, for example 5/5 in the largest Finnish music magazine. Germany's Sonic Seducer wrote that "Kinetik Control would be the next big Finnish thing after HIM, The Rasmus and Sunrise Avenue." The album also got recognition in Sweden, where the 2nd single "All Fours" was voted on top three on the Swedish National Radio "Finska Pinnar" chart for ten weeks in a row.
The same single was provided as a free download at the website of the largest Finnish TV-channel, MTV3, where it was download by more than 6000 individuals. The 1st single "In This Life" had the highest entry on the Finnish single chart at position 4. The band also filmed a music video of "All Fours".

Sad News from camp NGS!
Dazzle, who joined on Bass over a year ago, will play his last gig with NGS on the 11th March in Leicester. It has been a pleasure to have Daz in the NGS family and to have contributed to some killer gigs and fun times. I know the rest of the band are gutted, but fully support Dazzle's decision. In his own words; "It is with a heavy heart that I announce my departure from New Generation Superstars. Over the last couple of months I’ve felt my commitment to the band slip and would rather step down and let someone else to keep the torch burning than hold the guys back from the amazing plans they have coming up this year. There’s never been an ounce of bad blood between us and the boys have been very supportive of my decision. I’ve had a great time in NGS and wish the boys all the best for the future. We are going to stay good friends and I will remain a close supporter of the band, which means I may still be found occasionally knocking around the merch stand or propping up the bar. However this isn’t the end for Dazzle Rebel in Rock’n’Roll, not by a long stretch, once it’s in your blood you’d need a full claret transplant to get rid of it! I’ll just be taking it all at a more leisurely pace. I’d like to thank the New Gen fans for being amazing and supporting my transition into the band. It’s been a thrill to know such a dedicated and crazy bunch of people.

Dazzle will still contribute to the band in other ways, and will very much remain a part of the NGS Family. Come down and say goodbye at his remaining gigs. MORTIIS READIES FOR FULL EUROPEAN WINTER TOUR WITH COMBICHRIST
OSLO, Norway - Mortiis will return to the touring circuit this winter with a two-month, full European tour supporting evil-electro outfit Combichrist.
"In some fundamental ways, Combichrist and Mortiis are very different, but in other fundamental ways, we are very much the same," explained vocalist and namesake Mortiis. "At the end of the day, both bands have this 'f-you' attitude. It's expressed somewhat differently musically, but energy and attitude-wise we're carrying the same torch, so to speak. I think fans of both bands will pick up on that."
Mortiis took a break from touring while preparing their latest releases, the soon-to-emerge next album, "the Great Deceiver" and "Perfectly Defect," a totally free digital download. Unveiled October 10, "Perfectly Defect" is full-length, downloadable album available at their official website. "Perfectly Defect" is the quintessential prelude to the world of "The Great Deceiver" - while the latter is heavier and darker, the former is varied, experimental, and largely instrumental. The bottom line is that "Perfectly Defect" leads into "The Great Deceiver" acting as a crucial stage in the evolution of Mortiis' music.
The group is anxious to get back on stage and is ready to unleash months of pent-up aggression during their live show. Fans can expect to hear tracks from "Perfectly Defect" and "The Great Deceiver," as well as some older songs with a different twist.
"We've seriously pimped up a selection of older songs that we'll be performing," Mortiis said. "So, across the board, it will be a new, and for lack of a better expression, very 'pimped up' bunch of songs!"
A tour with Combichrist was imminent. Aside from having a long acquaintance with Combichrist's founder and Norwegian-native Andy LaPlegua, drummer Joe Letz is an extended member of the Mortiis family. After connecting with Letz during Mortiis' US tour with the Genitorturers - Letz's former band - the drummer got involved with Mortiis on some of the recording of "The Great Deceiver."
"It was just a question of time until we'd go out on tour together again," Mortiis said. "Joe is still a part of this band, the way we all see it. We always have a great time when we're together and I think this is something everyone's been wanting to happen for a while now. So when the opportunity came about, we pretty much did what had to be done to make it happen."

"A year since debuting for Australia’s
leading hard rock/heavy metal website, VoltageMedia, for whom I covered artists
from all genres from around the globe including everything from Acey Slade and
the Dark Party to Machine Head, I had my first printed work on sale in September
2010 through Inked Australia/NZ (tattoo magazine), where I managed to pull some
strings and get both Acey Slade and Sunset Riot into the public eye of the
alternative scene in Australia.
My fascination with music has lead me to various stages in the business and this
has resulted in requests from numerous websites, musicians and others artists
from around the world. After just over a year in this field, all my writing is
now based overseas, both with Mama Trash Promotions and TrashPit Records.
As a journalist I’ve tried my hand at everything I could get my hands on, in order to find what best suited my style of writing. And this has brought me to where I am today. I listen to everything from goth/industrial to pop/punk music (and everything in between), so inevitably I was drawn to the diverse range on offer here at Mama Trash Promotions, little did I think I would fall in love with the label and every artist on the roster here. MORTIIS’ ‘PERFECTLY DEFECT’: PERFECTLY FREE!
OSLO, Norway – Mortiis returns to satiate fans’ desire for new music this October 10 with “Perfectly Defect,” a completely free, full-length, downloadable album.
“Putting ‘Perfectly Defect’ out as a free download was a decision we made after some consideration,” said the band’s namesake Mortiis. “The new model of the music business is important to keep in mind; there is a new mentality out there in terms of how people acquire their music now. For better or worse, music seems to have become a medium a lot of people aren´t prepared to pay for in the old fashioned way. So, we paid to record it out of our own pockets ‘cos we thought it would be a really cool gift to our fans that have been waiting around for ages for something new to come out.”
Mortiis has spent much of the past couple years writing and recording “The Great Deceiver,” the long-awaited follow-up to 2004’s full-length “The Grudge” and the 2007 remix album, “Some Kind of Heroin.” “Perfectly Defect” is the quintessential prelude to the world of “The Great Deceiver” – while the latter is heavier and darker, the former is varied, experimental, and largely instrumental. The bottom line is that “Perfectly Defect” leads into “The Great Deceiver” acting as a crucial stage in the evolution of Mortiis’ music.
“When we were writing and working on ‘The Great Deceiver’, we were coming up with all sorts of inspired stuff, a really varied collection of music,” Mortiis offered. “Some of it was far too varied and experimental to be included in such an angry, dark album as ‘The Great Deceiver’ so we created a brand new album that is the introductory element to the more intricate world of ‘The Great Deceiver.’”
“I think we really captured a cool vibe here,” Mortiis enthused. “It’s not easy marrying anger with melody, but I believe we did it. The songs on ‘Perfectly Defect’ were created across a period of time, and I believe it shows in terms of what inspired these songs. They’re rather soundtrack-y in a dark and sometimes bombastic way.”
With the concept of digital distribution came a new empowerment for Mortiis – one where the artist controls his own artistic destiny.
“After our record deal finally expired, I had developed a profound aversion to the very idea of letting other people control my art, my lifework,” he said. “So, again, the idea of the new technology really did grow on me. We dealt with some really evil stuff in the industry. Nothing shocking in terms of industry practice, but at a human level, it was a living nightmare. It reached a point where we fired everyone around us except for the handful of people we knew we could trust. It was a big move, but had to be done in order to survive. It was like rewinding the clock back to the start and beginning with a clean slate. We started working on a ton of new music right then. With the advent of modern technology, we realized we could do a lot of stuff without the often self-serving, meddling record labels. No record label would ever have let us put out an album for free, with the option to donate if the fans wanted to.”

New Generation Superstars will continue their Digital Media assault, with the release of the single "Star" on 6th September 2010 through Plastichead Media. The single will also be accompanied by a video from up and coming film director Jordan Dubash (Confetti Institute), filmed exclusively at Platinum Lace Gentleman's Club. The video will be submitted to Rock media Channels for airplay, but will be available to view online 2 weeks after the single release at www.youtube.com/newgenrocks
The single is to be sold at a reduced rate for 4 weeks on digital platforms such as iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, HMV etc. This will be WORLDWIDE.

Iain Frisk and Night By Night have decided to follow different musical directions.

OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE: DAZZLE REBEL TO JOIN N.G.S
The past few weeks have been a bittersweet time in the N.G.S camp. Sadly, Tony
decided he will no longer be playing bass with the band, but we would like to
clarify will always be a member of the N.G.S family, this is a more than a just
a band, and the experiences shared within it have made bonds that transcend the
music. “The band has had an amazing few years since the release "Crash Course"
and through the more recent "Raising the Stakes" times, and Tony has always made
a huge contribution to the writing, performance and live shows of the
band....and we would like to thank Tony from the bottom of our hearts.” – AJ
However, the rocking is NOT over, (told you this had been bittersweet!). We would like to introduce the new bass player Mr Dazzle Rebel (ex Red Star Rebels). N.G.S have known Dazzle for a few years now, and thought there would be no better replacement. With his own glowing rock credentials, and song writing ability, Dazzle is eager to rock. The official debut of Dazzle will be in Newcastle on 2nd July, at Legends supporting Tigertailz. A single and video are set for release in September 2010.

Trash Family Artist, MIDNIGHT COWBOYS have been added to the list of bands who will contribute to "Reborn In Sleaze: A Tribute To Dave Lepard", a special re-recording of CRASHDIET's "Rest In Sleaze" LP to pay tribute to singer David Hellman (a.k.a. Dave Lepard), who committed suicide in January 2006 at the age of 25.

Right on the heels of the success of Trash Fest III, Mama Trash Promotions, Inc. creator Mama Trash announces Trash Fest IV will return to its "home" at Gloria in Helsinki in 2011. She adds, "The kick off party has been such a blast for the bands and the fans, I have decided to extend the festival to THREE FULL DAYS!"
Trash Festivities are scheduled to take over Helsinki, March 31 - April 2, 2011 featuring 12 bands and the ever so popular, Mama Trash All Star Band. Many more surprises are in store, but can not be revealed.
"The festival will be bigger and better than ever in 2011 with a few bands being booked from outside the "trash family circle" to stir things up a bit! One slot will also be reserved for a band based on fan votes!” Mama says. “Never fear, of course there will be plenty of beloved family artists from all over the globe in attendance and performing, including the 2011 MT All Star Band! I found it exciting that I had such an over abundance of singers in the band this year, it will be interesting to see who I select next year!" she continues.
Mama Trash favorites, Lord Of The Lost (Germany) and New Generation Superstars (UK) are already confirmed. The rest of the bands will be announced in the upcoming months. Also new in 2011 will be an OFFICIAL After Party to be held at Gloria after the festival on April 2nd.
“If you miss Trash Fest IV, the joke’s on you!” quips MT with the festival set to fall on April Fool’s Day. That should make for a very interesting weekend!

Mama Trash says “I am disappointed that it didn’t work out for Lacrimas and wish them well, but I am thrilled to announce that Iconcrash will now be co-headling the first night of the festival with Private Line. I consider them two of Finland’s best bands and it will be an extra special night for fans since both bands will be performing new music from their upcoming releases! I am also happy to announce that Deathstars guitarist, Cat Casino will be my special guest at the festival. He will be appearing with the 2010 Mama Trash All Star Band on Saturday night!”

Doors open at 8pm with a special DJ appearance by Darin & Ash of Dope Stars Inc! The weekend festivities will begin with a K-18 event, The Trash Fest Kick-Off Party on Thursday, March 4th at Gloria located at Pieni Roobertinkatu 12, in Helsinki featuring Spiritraiser (FIN), Baby Jane (SWE) and Sexydeath (SWE). Doors open at 8pm! Mama Trash, Trash Festival performers and other Mama Trash Family Artists will be in attendance to kick off the weekend!
Trash Fest III will be held at Nosturi located at Docksgatan 8, in Helsinki this year on March 5th and March 6th 2010 featuring Mama Trash Family Artists from around the globe! Festival doors open each night at 7pm, the first band hits the stage at 7:30pm so don’t be late! All ages to enter, 18 to drink!
