mt: Tell me where did the band name come from?

Chris: The band name came from nowhere...I guess we were goofing trying to find a good name for the band and it sounded good and it looks good to write and it is quite easy to remember.

mt: How would you describe your music to someone not familiar with it?

Chris: I would say mixture between Modern Metal and Classical Heavy Rock Music with lots of melodies.

mt: Give me five facts about yourself.

Chris: Well I was born and raised in Stockholm, been doing music forever, I actually sang before I could talk, according to my parents, been playing guitar since I was 9, got into metal when I was 12 or 13 and those are basically the things that are interesting.

mt: Musical Influences?

Chris: Big fan of Metallica of course, they got me into metal. After that a lot of Dream Theater and Children of Bodom, Nightwish and bands like that are a real inspiration.

mt: If you were a spice, which would you be?

Chris: Hickory

mt: Animal?

Chris: Cockroach

mt: Fruit?

Chris: Banana

mt: Take me through the song writing process of Defueld.

Chris: It has been very different from song to song...there is real no process. On this album it has been mostly me and Alex because most of the songs were written before the other guys joined the band. Basically what we do is here is a good riff, take it to the rehearsal room and jam on it and let the other guys have their say on it and feel to it...so everybody is included in the process.

mt: One word to describe each of you in the band? Or several words...

Alex: The...this is hard...Alex would be the guy who talks before he thinks.

Emil: would be the harsh reactor.

Patrik: would be the laid back guy.

mt: and you?

Chris: I would be the dreamer...to look ahead.

mt: Your best trait and worst habit?

Chris: Best trait is probably that I am never satisfied and that is also the worst thing.

mt: If you could be invisible, stop time or fly which would you be and why?

Chris: Oh definitely fly because I could see myself as a super hero.

mt: Do you have any strange habits or phobias?

Chris: No I am quite down to earth.

mt: What would you be doing if you were not a musician?

Chris: Drugged in the street.
