mt: How would you describe Baby Jane music to someone not familiar with the band?

Manx: Our music is raisin up a storm n tearin down the wall! It's hard rock, like the hard rock you love and feel familiar with, but like nothing you have ever heard before. We are very lucky to have such a creative vocalist in Freddie Wizzp which really put the extra twist to it!

mt: How did you come up with the name of the band?

Manx: It's actually from a Alice Cooper documentary and Rikk wrote the name down in his scrap book of lyrics years before BABY JANE was created.

mt: Take me through the song writing process of the band.

Manx: Most of the ideas in the band has come from Rikk's mind. He's a perfectionist and will never write any bad song! I am also veryimpressed by his lyrics which are by far the best lyrics I have ever read in Swedish hard rock. Often he comes to the studio with a song 100% done and sometimes it's a "work-in-progress" which the rest of the band loves to sink their
teeth into. Freddie has also great ideas and is the master mind behind the new song "This Is War". But that doesn't say that the rest of us are slackers, we are also very creative when the song hits the rehearsals. In the future I would love to hear more from Mikey too because he has some fucking raw shit coming out from his guitars every now and then!


mt: Give me one word to describe each of the guys in the band including yourself...one word each.

Freddie: Rolemodel
Mikey: Mastermind
Matt: Energic
Rikk: Poet
Manx: Rebel

mt: If you could have one super power, what would it be and why?

Manx: I would love to be called The Money Man! My superpower would be to create money and spend on all the fun things in the world! I would be one of the good ones and do good with the money but sometimes flip out and do crazy thing, I mean real crazy things. Wouldn't that be a funnycartoon?

mt: What do you believe is your best trait? Worst habit?

Manx: I believe I'm a good speaker and a motivator but sometimes I talk too much and should learn to just keep my mouth shut!

mt: If you were not in a band, what would you be doing?

Manx: I would love to be a tour manager for a great rock n roll band with fun guys who are able to play the shit out of everyone every night! And when I get older I would love to open a rock n roll bar called Santa Fe!

mt: What are the bands plans for 2010?

Manx: Hopefully our fan base will grow bigger and bigger and a major record company will sign us!
