Mama Trash Bio

Music has always been a huge part of my life starting when I was a teenager with my brother, the drummer in a US band called Freakshow. They were a huge success in the tri-state area for over eight years and through them I was exposed to a variety of different bands and styles of music. At the same time, I also started meeting famous musicians through him and other friends. In 2003, with 18 years of business marketing experience, I decided to bring the bands I enjoyed closer to the fans with my first website, experiencemetal.com and I have never looked back.

In 2004. I met Acey Slade, and the nickname "Mama Trash" was created by the UK fans of his band, Trashlight Vision, due to my maternal nature over the band. Ever since then the name (or persona!) took on a life of its own! Now dozens of bands around the globe, fondly call me "Mama." Mama Trash Promotions, Inc. was officially founded in January 2006 and is incorporated in the state of Delaware in the US. The Mama Trash “brand” consists of a talented roster of bands from around the world known as Mama Trash Family Artists (MTFA).

In addition to offering promotional packages to my clients, I hold an annual festival called "Trash Fest" in Helsinki, Finland annually giving MTFA an opportunity to share their music with fans from around the world! It is not just a festival, it is a rock n roll family reunion that both fans and bands don't want to miss! Trash Fest VI is scheduled for October 4 & 5, 2013 at Gloria in Helsinki with a Kick Off Party on Thu, Oct 3rd at On The Rocks and Official After Parties at Baakari Friday and Saturday following Trash Fest VI brought to you by Rockstone Agency! We have also added for the first time, an acoustic show on Sun, Oct 6, 2013 to end the Trash Fest weekend with The InSex & Crystal Rain!
